Creating an account will improve the experience, as it will allow you a better interaction with other students. Here are the steps:

Fill out the New Account form with your details.
The web site administrator will receive a notification and approve your account.
An introductory email will be sent to your email address.
You can log in and select the course you want to participate in.

From now on you will only need to enter your personal username and password (in the form on this page) to log in and access any course you have enrolled in.
