There are plenty of student-centered teaching methods, but this course is a mini-guide only for active learning, inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning and project-based learning. We chose to discuss this type of teaching, mainly because it develops crucial skills such as: critical thinking, problem-solving, risk-taking, collaboration, cooperation, communication, organisation, time management (team working) or self-confidence in knowledge and skills which are a must for 21st century learner/classrooms. One size doesn’t fit all, therefore we should be able to accommodate different learning styles through differentiation.
