This Scientix Moodle course introduces the collaborative approach of teaching-learning process of STEM subjects with art subjects, as drama and dance. This course will expose you to the examples and methods about collaboration of these realistic and humanistic subjects and will show you that it can be possible to teach STEM through interdisciplinary approach with art subjects.

There are plenty of student-centered teaching methods, but this course is a mini-guide only for active learning, inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning and project-based learning.  We chose to discuss this type of teaching, mainly because it develops crucial skills such as:  critical thinking, problem-solving, risk-taking, collaboration, cooperation, communication, organisation, time management (team working) or self-confidence in knowledge and skills which are a must for 21st century learner/classrooms. One size doesn’t fit all, therefore we should be able to accommodate different learning styles through differentiation.
