ICT (Information and Communication Technology - or Technologies) is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application: radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and so on, as well as the various services and applications associated with them, such as videoconferencing and distance learning.

This course provides a mini guide and a small tool box as supportive material in using effectively innovative ICT tools for different phases of the teaching and learning process.
The content of the course is based on a
collection and analysis of the existing bibliography. It is divided into
categories and it includes Web 2.0 tools, ICT tools for STEM lessons, many
resources that provide useful links and a review of the Scientix repository of
teaching materials, of projects and courses about ICT tools.

Trinket allows you to code in any browser, an any device. Trinket supports HTML5, Python, GlowScript, Java. With the sharing option, Code can be embed on any site.
The course provides an overview of the tool and offers examples of its use. In particular, the course includes examples of how to integrate the Trinket in STEM classes by connecting coding with physics, chemistry, mathematics.
